Plug & play LED tube
NYLL, New York LED Luminaries, is located at 4117 New Utrecht Ave., Brooklyn, New York. Two entrepreneurs worked on LED retrofit kit and have found that the retrofit kit is complicated and time consuming when it is installed into the current light fixtures with fluorescent lamps.
They focus on developing T8 and T12 LED tubes that can directly replace the glass fluorescent lamps without modifications. At the end of 2013, they have developed the first generation LED tubes that work with magnetic and electronic ballasts. Currently, they have further developed the technology of direct replacement for all the linear T8 and T12 fluorescent lamps up to 8 feet with their design which are compatible with magnetic and electronic ballasts with G13, FA8 and RDC lamp base/holder.
In February, 2015, the company has successfully developed industry first 8 ft T8 and T12 LED tubes. The technology is compatible with magnetic and electronic ballasts. The application is a seamless plug and play.
The company has further developed the technology in the T12HO high output applications in the sign industries and outdoor applications. The company philosophy is to develop products that can be a direct replacement and seamless plug and play without any concerns of ballast types and as simple as changing a light bulb. We call it Re-Lamping technology.
We have mastered this technology in the linear fluorescent lamp direct replacement with our Re-Lamping Series. We can make any direct replacement lamps that are listed in ANSI C78.81 spec.
